Job summary

HSBC Global Services Limited is seeking a Branch-based Universal Banker (Type 2) for RBWM. The role focuses on generating revenue by meeting customer needs in personal banking and Advance segments, guiding customers to use HSBC channels, and providing referrals to Wealth Sales and Branch Specialists.

The position is full-time, 35 hours per week, with training and a starting salary of £27,200 plus a discretionary annual bonus.

Job Profile:

A branch based customer facing role primarily focused on generating revenue by meeting customer needs to personal banking and Advance customer segment, may provide service where required. Providing consistently excellent customer experience and encouraging customers to use additional channels where appropriate to ensure delivery of the proposition.

Undertakes all product sales except material risk products (where regulation permits) using EDRAS based sales process to discover customer needs. Providing referrals to both Wealth Sales and Branch Specialists based on customer needs.

When & where you'll work

This is a full-time role that requires you to work 35 hours per week between the hours of Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 and Saturday 09:00-13:30. (Not all our branches are open on a Saturday). Please note if you are on a student visa that does not allow you to work 35 hours per week, unfortunately, we will not be able to progress your application. There may be times when we may ask you to support other local branches within a reasonable distance to you with any additional costs reimbursed in line with HSBC Expenses Policy.

Your Training

You' ll receive full training in-branch to get you up to speed with the specifics of your job role, the systems you will use, as well as the products and services that HSBC offer.

Training will be provided for 8 days in total split over a period of two weeks. As our training is important, we require you to attend the whole course therefore you will be unable to take holidays during your training period.
