Unit Refurb Technician

Marchington

Role and key responsibilities for Refurb Technician:

• Ensure all refurbishment tasks are performed to the standards the company has developed.
• Accomplish daily refurb tasks in a timely and efficient manner with an emphasis on quality.
• Work alongside staff in the warehouse to move equipment in and out of refurb.
• Ensure warehouse work space is organized and meets standards required by law.
• Responsible for closing refurb work orders and refurb quality.
• Ensure refurb work is completed to the appropriate standards and properly documented.
• Assist in identifying equipment to scrap.
• Maintain compliance to Health and Safety policy and all other associated Accreditation and procedures.
• You must be comfortable dealing with queries on a day-to-day basis and dealing with ad hoc tasks as required.
• Undertake duties in other departments as required.

Essential requirements for Refurb Technician:

• Prior experience of operating handheld tools such as drills, grinder jigsaw etc.
• Hard working, proactive and independent
• Organised, responsible and trustworthy
• Strong Attention to detail – you'll need to be able to follow strict operational guidelines
• Ability to problem solve and to use your own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritising workload and multitasking
• Adaptability to changing daily tasks
• Interested in the way our business works with creative plans on how to improve it
• Open-minded and eager to learn, and keen to share your own experience for the benefit of others

Desirable:

• Metal fabrication, paint work
• Basic mechanical skills
• Basic electrical skills

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
