Job Title: Unit Maintenance Technician

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off shift pattern: 7-7 (days & nights)
Salary: £54,000 per annum plus paid overtime at 1.5x
Additional Benefits: £5,000 signing bonus (payable after passing probation)
Mller Yogurt & Desserts is the UK's leading yogurt manufacturer responsible for major brands like Mllerlight, Mller Corner, and Mller Rice. It produces chilled desserts under license from Mondelez International and supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state-of-the-art yogurt facility.
We are looking for highly skilled Engineers (internally known as Unit Maintenance Technicians) to join our Market Drayton Dairy. The successful candidate will be responsible for reactive maintenance as well as conducting planned maintenance activities where required.
Ideal candidates should possess a time-served apprenticeship or HNC qualification and have prior experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the food or beverages industry.
Due to significant investment and commitment from Muller to the long-term future of their Shropshire operations, several vacancies have arisen within their engineering team at the Market Drayton site. The site has seen approximately £80m invested in upgrades to infrastructure, automation, and high-speed filling machines. Further investments include world-class warehousing and storage solutions, new product developments, and enhancements to yogurt and fruit processing plants.
