Overview

You will work as head of the team in St Joseph Catholic Primary School, providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.

Responsibilities
  • Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans.
  • Direct and/or supervise other employees.
  • Order supplies and store deliveries.
  • Maintain records and stock control.
  • Maintain agreed standards and associated documentation in relation to food and kitchen hygiene.
  • Conduct LCC catering inductions to new members of catering teams.
  • Experience of large-scale catering.
  • Excellent customer service experience essential.
  • Knowledge of food service and supervisory skills.
Qualifications
  • Recognized supervisor or team leader qualification would be desirable.
Working Hours & Pay
  • Monday to Friday
  • Term time only
  • Pay is pro rata so advertised wage is for full time equivalent.
  • 23.75 hours per week, equaling 4.75 hours per day; hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake. This position is part time and term time only; the salary quoted is full time equivalent and the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
