Job Purpose

To work effectively and efficiently as a member of the supplies team for the issue of uniform and non‑uniform items to the Constabulary.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Be the initial point of contact dealing with enquiries by email, phone and in person; provide advice and guidance on stock items and scales of issue to all roles within the Constabulary.
  2. Review all clothing and equipment requests, including scale of issue entitlement and personal issue history.
  3. Accurately select and distribute the full range of stock inventory items.
  4. Fit clothing and equipment to all uniform, non‑uniform and specialist roles, including measurement and fitting of specialist body armour.
  5. Receive and accurately record deliveries from various suppliers; liaise with them to report discrepancies and arrange returns for faulty or incorrectly delivered goods.
  6. Record all stock movements onto the inventory control stock management system in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, and complete individual and departmental KPIs.
