A leading insurance company seeks an Underwriting Auditor for Corporate Underwriting in Leeds. This role involves evaluating underwriting effectiveness and performing audits for various business units. Position Title: Underwriting Auditor - Corporate Underwriting
Reports to: Senior Audit Manager - London
Department: Corporate Underwriting
Arch’s Corporate Underwriting (“CU”) provides an underwriting audit function for Arch Insurance, primarily UK Regional, albeit with possible additional London Market involvement as required or as skillset allows.
The purpose of this role is to provide underwriting audit support to CU leadership in these two categories of CU Audits for Arch Insurance UK and other Arch entities to a lesser extent.
Arch’s Corporate Underwriting (“CU”) Audit team is charged with evaluating the effectiveness of the underwriting process for all active Arch Insurance Group business units in the United States, Bermuda, Canada, Australia, and Europe. CU Audit – via reviews and reports – provides an objective evaluation for Arch senior leadership concerning the quality and alignment of the business units’ underwriting decisions to authority levels and guidelines while enabling change where necessary and enhancing underwriting processes and controls.
