You’ll guide a small team and partner across Underwriting, Pricing, Risk, Actuarial, and Enterprise Data to shape the future of data use in underwriting. The role is hybrid with office time in Stratford-upon-Avon and substantial remote work.

As an Underwriting Analytics and Data Standards Manager, you'll lead the development of underwriting analytics capabilities across NFU Mutual while defining and embedding the data standards, controls and governance required to support trusted, consistent and scalable underwriting data.
You'll strengthen underwriting decision making through robust analytics, making credible challenges, and taking clear data ownership. Leading a team of up to four colleagues, including both existing specialists and new hires, you'll establish and grow a newly formed function. You'll set the strategic direction for underwriting analytics, oversee data standards and governance, support model performance, and develop insight that improves portfolio management, trading decisions and analytical maturity.
Working closely with stakeholders across Underwriting, Pricing, Risk, Actuarial, Customer Data Science, Enterprise Data, Technology and Architecture, you'll ensure underwriting priorities are represented across enterprise initiatives while helping shape the future direction of data and analytics across the business.
This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon.
