Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a software engineer to design and implement application and software solutions for underwater robotics in line with Saab Seaeye's business needs.

You will develop software for the next generation of underwater vehicles and maintain existing code, applying strong C++11 skills and knowledge of control systems, with exposure to web technologies for frontend components.

Qualifications

• Degree in an Engineering discipline or Software Engineering with industry experience.
• Strong C++ skills with C++11 knowledge.
• Experience in development of control software and solid software architecture understanding.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for underwater robotics vehicles in line with Saab Seaeye's business needs.
• Support and develop the existing codebase and products, contributing to next generation underwater systems.
