Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a software engineer to design and implement applications for our underwater robotics platforms. You will contribute to the next generation of autonomous underwater vehicles, developing robust C++ code and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will also support and extend existing software, work with Windows and Linux environments, and apply knowledge of web technologies to build interfaces and tooling that empower operators and researchers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Software Engineering with industry experience.
• Strong C++ with knowledge of C++11.
• Experience in developing control software and software architecture.
• Familiarity with backend server design and web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application and software solutions for underwater robotics.
• Develop software for next generation underwater vehicles and maintain existing codebase.
