Pirelli UK Tyres Ltd is seeking an HR Assistant (undergraduate placement) in Carlisle for a 12-month placement. You will gain hands-on experience across recruitment, employee relations, learning & development, HR administration and workforce planning.

The role involves providing comprehensive administrative support, assisting with recruitment and early careers, maintaining HR data, and contributing to HR projects in a fast-paced environment. Right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in HR, Business Management, Psychology or a related discipline.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Discretion with confidential information and sensitive employee matters.
• Ability to build relationships with staff and managers.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and records management.
• Support recruitment and early careers initiatives, including coordinating interviews and inductions.
• Assist with absence management, reporting and HR case administration.
• Coordinate learning, development and wellbeing activities.
• Maintain HR systems and confidentiality of employee data.
• Contribute to HR projects and events, supporting people-focused initiatives.
