Ultrafast Laser Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

We\'re looking for a Ultrafast Laser Manufacturing Engineer to join our high-performing team in Stockport. This is a hands-on, technical role focused on the manufacture, service, and installation of custom ultrafast laser products. You\'ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cutting-edge laser systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble ultrafast laser products following detailed processes:
  • Chassis pre-build
  • Cleaning and optics assembly
  • Optical alignment and testing
  • Final assembly and product testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve lab issues in collaboration with technical teams
• Service returned lasers, identify root causes, and document repairs
• Write and update work instructions
• Act as a technical expert for ultrafast laser products
• Support new product introduction and prototype builds
• Participate in onsite installations and customer support
