Job summary

Mountain Group is seeking a confident Team Leader to guide a retail team in delivering exceptional customer service and a vibrant shopping experience. You will coach and mentor colleagues, maintain strong store operations, and lead visual merchandising efforts to present a welcoming environment.

As a driving force for performance, you will motivate staff to meet sales targets, uphold health and safety standards, and build connections within the local community.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development:

Operational Excellence:

• Uphold impeccable shop floor standards, ensuring stock presentation, ticketing, and organisation are on point every day.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing duties, to ensure smooth workflows.
• Lead engaging visual merchandising efforts to create a clean and inviting space for customers and colleagues alike.
• Prioritise Health & Safety, safeguarding the wellbeing of your team and customers.

Sales & Performance:

• Motivate your team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Identify growth opportunities for team members and suggest strategies for their development.

Customer Experience:

• Set the standard for exceptional customer service and ensure it’s delivered consistently.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Build connections within the local community, enhancing the store’s personal and welcoming atmosphere.
