Job summary

Mountain Warehouse is seeking a UK Sales Assistant for our Newbury Retail Park store. As part of the UK Retail department, you will help maintain presentation standards, support store operations, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience for customers.

You will work collaboratively with the team, handle transactions, stay informed about promotions, and contribute to achieving sales targets. This is a permanent part-time role with a focus on exceptional service and brand representation.

Responsibilities

• Team Collaboration: Work harmoniously with colleagues and participate in team discussions to achieve goals; share knowledge to train new and existing staff.
• Operational Excellence: Assist day-to-day store operations, process transactions, keep floor clean and stocked, stay informed on promotions.

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the store operates efficiently and delivers an outstanding shopping experience. Key Responsibilities

Team Collaboration:

• Work harmoniously with your colleagues, fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment.

Operational Excellence:

• Help set up and execute in-store promotions and displays to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.

Customer Engagement:

• Build strong connections with customers, engaging with them to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all.

Sales & Performance:

• Work with the team to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to a high-performing and motivated workplace.
• Support store management in identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, helping the team achieve its full potential.
