Pattison Shepley Ruvolo is seeking an experienced UK Immigration Advisory Lead in London to act as the senior escalation point for complex immigration matters. You will guide clients and internal teams, lead a growing advisory group, and shape the function's strategy and scalability.

The role combines technical immigration expertise with leadership and stakeholder management to deliver strategic, commercially-focused advice and build long-term client relationships.

• Drive client retention and long-term relationship growth by delivering accurate, commercially-focused immigration advice.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Immigration Advisors to stay at the forefront of UK immigration policy and practice.
• Partner with commercial and customer-facing teams on enterprise opportunities, providing technical expertise and credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Represent the organisation as a subject matter expert through events and thought leadership initiatives.
• Translate legislative changes into practical, actionable guidance for clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the structure, processes, and scalability of the advisory function.
• Champion compliance, quality, and service excellence across the business.

Due to continued expansion within the corporate immigration market, this firm are seeking an experienced UK Immigration Advisory Lead. This is a pivotal leadership role, combining technical expertise, client advisory work, team development, and strategic input. You will be the subject matter expert, providing guidance on complex UK immigration matters while helping

shape and scale a best-in-class advisory function.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the senior escalation point and final authority on complex, high-stakes UK immigration matters, providing expert guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Drive client retention and long-term relationship growth by ensuring the delivery of accurate, commercially-focused, and strategic immigration advice.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Immigration Advisors, ensuring they remain at the forefront of UK immigration legislation, Home Office policy, and industry best practice.
• Partner with commercial and customer-facing teams on enterprise opportunities, providing technical expertise and building credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Represent the organisation as a subject matter expert through events, thought leadership initiatives, and market-facing content.
• Translate legislative and policy changes into practical, actionable guidance for both clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the structure, processes, and future scalability of the immigration advisory function.

Requirements

• Significant senior-level immigration advisory experience within a respected immigration law firm, specialist consultancy or professional services practice.
• Demonstrable experience advising corporate clients on complex immigration matters.
• Proven track record advising corporate clients on UK immigration compliance.
• Proven leadership capabilities, with the confidence to take ownership of technical decisions and support the performance and development of others.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to establish credibility with senior stakeholders and enterprise-level organisations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal and regulatory concepts into clear, commercially-minded advice.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to mentoring, coaching, and developing junior team members.
• A passion for delivering outstanding client outcomes and maintaining the highest technical standards.
