Job description

We are seeking a UK&I HSEQ Programme Manager to lead the integration of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards across Sodexo. This role drives alignment, supports business growth through bids and mobilisations, ensures robust incident management, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and Zero Harm across the UK&I.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to drive HSEQ initiatives and programmes, resulting in productive and measurable improvements across the organization, including YoY improvements across key metrics outlining region maturity.
  • Leads ongoing enhancements to the HSEQ management system, ensuring it remains compliant with relevant regulations and standards, and incorporates best practices for operational excellence, resulting in an integrated management system that maintains its accreditation and provides clarity for our operators on effective processes and procedures.
  • Successfully embraces and advances the Zero Harm Mindset, driving continuous improvement in health and safety performance and fostering a resilient safety culture throughout the business, resulting in completion of training and positive reflection in leading metrics.
  • Provides flexible, hybrid working with impactful on-site engagement, supporting operational colleagues in advancing their HSEQ maturity and ensuring that safety and quality standards are consistently upheld, resulting in YOY improvements to TRCR.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years HSEQ experience.
  • Proven experience in project and change management within complex organisations.
  • Experience in Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management system development and implementation.
  • Quality/HSE certifications such as Chartered Quality Institute, NEBOSH or IOSH certificate.
  • Good organisational and communication skills and ability to liaise and engage with various levels of management and employees.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, both prescribed and self‑imposed.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to conduct HSE training, briefing, meeting, inspection, etc.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the management systems are thoroughly considered and documented.
  • Full UK and Ireland driving licence; fully mobile to travel across the UK and Ireland region.
