Job summary

Saxo Bank is recruiting for a Head of Compliance UK to shape the Group Compliance agenda and lead the UK team from London. You will oversee regulatory reporting, compliance activities and advise on UK and European regulatory developments within an international Saxo Group context.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory expertise in MiFID/MAR, and strong collaboration across Saxo's European compliance setup. Start date: 1 April 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience within a Compliance or AML function in financial services or consulting.
• Deep understanding of UK and European financial services regulations and hands-on regulator interaction.
• Strong leadership potential with ability to operate across a matrix compliance setup.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and execution of all compliance activities, including monitoring programmes, advisory services and management reporting.
• Lead UK Compliance team and collaborate with the Saxo Group Compliance team.
• Hold SM16 & SMF17 senior management functions and manage regulatory reporting with local regulators.
• Maintain liaison with Group Compliance and other European teams to ensure alignment.
• Provide proactive advice on evolving business and regulatory developments and contribute to AML reporting to CEO and stakeholders.
