Job summary

Tillotts Pharma UK is seeking an experienced and commercially minded accountant to own the finance function for the UK and Ireland. This high-visibility role collaborates with the Managing Director and budget holders to drive financial insight and commercial support across the business.

The role involves managing statutory and management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as business partnering with senior stakeholders, audits, governance, and group reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with broad-based finance experience.
• Experience in management and statutory accounting.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Experience with quarterly and annual audits.

Responsibilities

• Own the finance function for the UK & Ireland, partnering with senior leaders.
• Oversee management and statutory accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Lead business partnering with budget holders and MD; provide commercial insight.
• Manage audit processes and governance; coordinate external auditors.
• Oversee group reporting and liaise with the wider group finance function.
• Maintain relationship with external accounting providers.

An exciting opportunity to join Tillotts Pharma UK, the largest wholly owned affiliate of Switzerland-based Tillotts Pharma AG, part of the Japanese Zeria Group. We are looking to appoint an experienced and commercially minded accountant to take ownership of the finance function for the UK and Ireland. This is a broad and highly visible role, working closely with the Managing Director, leadership team and budget holders to provide financial insight, challenge and commercial support to the business.

• Management and statutory accounting
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders
• Quarterly and annual audit processes
• Financial controls and governance
• Group reporting and working with the wider Group finance function
• Managing the relationship with the external accounting provider
• Providing commercial insight to support business decisions

Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant with broad-based finance experience who is looking for a role with significant responsibility, visibility and autonomy.

You will be commercially minded, hands-on and comfortable working independently, while also being confident building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
