Job summary

Janison is seeking a Programme Director (UK) to lead the SNSA/MCNG contract for the Scottish Government, accountable for end-to-end delivery, budget control, governance and stakeholder engagement. The role requires strong leadership of multi-workstream teams across locations and a clear focus on client satisfaction and value delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading complex, high-stakes programmes in education, assessments or regulated public-sector environments, including P&L/contract ownership
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technology programme delivery, including platform implementation, systems integration and large-scale data migration
• Experience operating in a matrixed or multi-vendor delivery model, ideally spanning onshore/offshore teams, in international or dual-reporting structures
• Strong KPI/SLA governance, risk and change management on contracts with service credits or similar commercial exposure

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of UK/Europe programmes, owning outcomes across all workstreams and ensuring delivery on time, to scope, to quality and within budget
• Own commercial and financial performance, including budget forecasting, cost control and variance reporting
• Manage client and delivery-partner relationships, with clear change control and Statements of Work
• Provide leadership to UK delivery teams, set direction and maintain momentum and client confidence
• Represent Janison in client forums and steering committees and align with client priorities
• Mentor and upskill project managers, ensure capability to manage large-scale programmes
