About the Team and the Role

eBay Live is redefining the shopping experience by bringing real-time, interactive, and curated live events to buyers worldwide. From collectibles and fashion to luxury goods and sports memorabilia, we’re connecting communities with sellers and creators through innovative, engaging live programming.

Role: Live Producer — responsible for accomplishing and optimising live shopping events, ensuring seamless production, seller collaboration, and audience engagement. You will work with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and data science.

What You Will Accomplish

• Support and lead all aspects of the end-to-end production of eBay Live shopping events, ensuring seamless execution and engaging viewer experiences
• Support in creation of processes, playbooks, and cross functional shareouts regarding Live programming
• Lead live video and audio production, including RTMP streaming operations involving OBS Studio, HDMI / SDI / NDI camera operations, and the native eBay Live Platform, networking, and RTMP streaming setups
• Collaborate with category managers, sellers, and hosts to curate compelling live shopping events aligned with eBay’s e-commerce goals
• Track and analyze key performance metrics such as GMV, viewer engagement, returning buyers, and event saves to optimize event strategies
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve the efficiency, scalability, and quality of eBay Live events
• Work with marketing teams to develop pre-show promotions, push notifications, and event branding to improve reach and connection with the audience

What You Will Bring

• 1+ years of experience in live video production, event management, or e-commerce content production
• Strong understanding of live streaming technologies, including video switching, OBS Studio, RTMP setups, and NDI networking
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with sellers, hosts, and cross-functional teams
• Data based approach to decision making
• Passion for live commerce, digital media, and delivering engaging and innovative shopping experiences
• Some weekend work and travel may be required
