A consulting firm in energy sector is seeking a UK Business Development Manager. The role involves developing sales strategies and executing business development across the UK and Ireland. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience and strong relationships within the T&D market. The position is home-based with required travel. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering are preferred.

About the job UK Business Development Manager

Job Title: BD Manager- UK/Ireland

Directly report to: Director

Location: Home based but travel for Business need as required

Job responsibilities:

  1. Business Development
    • Responsible for sales & business development in UK & Ireland. Execute value, mission, vision and strategy of the organization
    • In line with the business strategy carry out market research, analysis & marketing activities.
    • Identify and understand the decision-making Stakeholders, organizations and target customers
  2. Sales and Negotiation
    • Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets
    • Achieve sales target including Composite insulation cross arm (CICA) and insulation products of Transmission and Distribution network
    • Present proposals to potential clients.
    • Organize/Coordinate internal resources based on business requirement.

Qualifications:

  1. Deep industry knowledge is required.
  2. Have strong relationship with key decision makers in the power and T&D market, ability to build relationships at C-Suite in theutility market.
  3. Have a profound understanding of local transmission and distribution power grid market, and good knowledge of EPC players.
  4. 5+ years of experience in Business Development/Sales.
  5. Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred.

  • Highly Driven &target oriented.
  • Leadership, management, and collaborative skills, able to manage multiple demands and to respond to queries from customers and management.
