Law360 is seeking an Assistant Managing Editor to lead a UK reporters team and guide daily coverage of the legal and business landscape. The role supports editorial decision‑making, developing journalists, and delivering high‑quality reporting on major developments.

Working with senior editorial leadership, you will shape coverage priorities and help the newsroom respond swiftly to breaking news, while maintaining high standards and coordinating across teams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in journalism or related field.
• 7–10 years of journalism experience.
• Experience covering the legal industry.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of reporters covering the U.K. legal and business landscape.
• Set coverage priorities and assign stories.
• Oversee reporting and editing decisions on complex stories.
• Guide the team in responding quickly and effectively to breaking news.
• Support the development and coaching of reporters and editors.
• Maintain high editorial standards across all coverage.
• Coordinate coverage across teams and newsroom functions.
• Plan staffing and coverage needs, adjusting priorities as news and resources change.
