Job summary

Badger Meter, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive business development and sales across all market sectors in the UK.

You will manage key accounts, build relationships with customers, distributors and partners, and develop strategic plans to achieve revenue targets. The role involves independent field sales, frequent customer meetings, and cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, product development and support teams to optimize the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in a similar B2B sales role.
• Experience with distributors, resellers and end users.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet KPI and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in the UK.
• Lead field sales with regular face‑to‑face meetings and UK-wide travel.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development and inside sales to optimize sales strategies.
• Prepare quotations and proposals across markets and products.
