Job summary

Prevail Partners Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking experienced Surveillance Officers to support an Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) client as part of a specialist protective security programme. This is not a traditional Close Protection role.

You will plan, conduct covert surveillance, gather intelligence to inform operational decisions, and identify hostile reconnaissance or suspicious behaviour while deployed with a wider security team.

Qualifications

• Extensive operational surveillance experience within the UK.
• Proven experience conducting covert surveillance in dynamic and fast-moving environments.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of hostile reconnaissance and behavioural detection.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working as part of a professional multidisciplinary security team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK and overseas when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct covert foot and mobile surveillance operations.
• Deliver protective surveillance in support of client movements, residences and activities.
• Identify hostile reconnaissance and suspicious behaviour.
• Plan, prepare and execute surveillance deployments in urban and rural environments.
• Gather, record and report intelligence and observations.
• Maintain situational awareness while operating discreetly and professionally.
• Liaise with Close Protection Officers and Residential Security Teams.
• Use surveillance techniques to support threat assessments and operational planning.
• Produce clear, concise written reports after deployments.
• Operate within legal, ethical and client confidentiality requirements.
• Maintain surveillance equipment and readiness.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and discretion.
