Big ideas. Real-world impact. Global opportunity.

At SYOS Aerospace, we’re building the next generation of autonomous systems across air, land, and sea - turning ambitious ideas into technology that works in the real world.

From advanced engineering and R&D in New Zealand to manufacturing scale-up in the UK, our global teams are developing innovative products with real-world impact. As we continue to grow, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our technology and build your career across international teams and projects.

The SYOS way

We’re growing fast, taking on bigger challenges, and building technology that matters.

  • Lead systems integration activities across mechanical, electrical and propulsion subsystems.
  • Coordinate system-level verification, validation and testing to ensure platform performance and reliability.
  • Identify and resolve system integration challenges, working collaboratively across engineering and production teams.
  • Support the development, documentation and maintenance of system requirements and technical specifications.
  • Ensure systems meet relevant performance, durability, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to support design maturity, build readiness and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of aircraft from development through to production and operational use.
  • Support engineering activities and deployments across the UK and Europe, including travel to challenging and high-risk environments.
What you’ll bring
  • Experience in systems engineering within aerospace, aviation, defence, robotics or a similarly complex engineering environment
  • Understanding of systems architecture, requirements management and functional decomposition
  • Experience integrating complex mechanical, electrical and propulsion systems
  • Knowledge of system verification, validation and testing methodologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work across multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills
  • A practical, hands‑on approach with the ability to take ownership and drive engineering outcomes.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across the UK and internationally, including challenging and high-risk locations.
