An established industry player in youth football development is seeking a dedicated coach to assist in the holistic growth of elite young players. This role involves working closely with the U18 Lead Coach and supporting the transition of players through various development phases. The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player, capable of adapting to the dynamic needs of young athletes. To assist the U18 Lead Coach and the wider multi-disciplinary team in all aspects of the long-term, holistic development of elite young players within the Leyton Orient Football Club Academy.
Regular travel to fixtures, meetings, and other events in connection with the performance of duties.
Assist the Lead PDP Coach with player development and the delivery of the coaching syllabus within the PDP, ensuring a flexible approach to meet the needs of the player(s).
Monitor and report on individual player development through the player journey portal on Kitman Labs.
Involve in the individual development of players in the Professional Development Phase across all four corners of the LTPD model.
Undertake all coaching aspects as detailed within the ILP of the players.
Work closely with the YDP Lead Coach to ensure a smooth transition for players moving from U16s into the Professional Development Phase.
Coach one evening per week with the U16s age group.
Monitor the transition of players from the Youth Development Phase into the Professional Development Phase and players into potential First Team players.
Integrate with MDT staff to deliver a holistic development programme for all players.
Undertake enhancement of specific personal qualifications and all CPD provided by the club and regulatory bodies.
