Job summary

Dick Lovett in Swindon is expanding its Wheel and Tyre Centre and seeks a motivated Tyre Fitter to join the team and progress to more complex wheel and tyre repair work.

The role offers training in a modern, well-equipped workshop, with opportunities to develop skills, advance your career, and improve earning potential through performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Previous tyre-fitting or wheel-related experience.
• Experience in manufacturer-approved environments is advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to learn and progress to more technical work.

Responsibilities

• Fitting wheels and tyres to a high professional standard.
• Completing wheel refurbishment work, including inspections, repairs, and equipment maintenance.
• Maintaining accurate records of tyre stock and sales, ensuring stock levels are always correct.
• Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and safe, including correct disposal of old tyres.
• Taking ownership of the condition, cleanliness, and care of tyre-fitting and refurbishment equipment.
