Overview

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit a Tyre Fitter on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Dorchester location.

The successful candidate for the Tyre Fitter position will have previous experience in a similar role and strong teamwork skills. You will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product.

Responsibilities
  • Perform tyre changes, repairs, balancing, and alignment using mobile equipment.
  • Handle tyres for various vehicle types, including cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles.
  • Provide a high level of customer service by engaging professionally with clients, answering queries, and offering expert advice on tyre care and maintenance.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations during tyre fitting procedures, ensuring both your safety and that of the customer.
  • Ensure that all mobile fitting equipment and tools are in good working order, clean, and properly stored in the mobile unit. Report any faults or issues promptly.
  • Manage stock levels of tyres and materials within the mobile unit, ensuring you have the necessary inventory to complete jobs efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of all jobs completed, including customer details, services provided, and any additional work recommended.

  • Salary: £30,000pa
  • Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (5 and a half days a week)
