About the Role

As a Typescript Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications using Typescript as the primary language. In addition to your core expertise, the role involves working with technologies like Java, JavaScript, Docker, and AWS serverless components such as Lambda, Kinesis, and EventBridge.

This is a hybrid role based in London, requiring onsite presence days per week. The initial contract is for months, with strong potential for extension. This role is offered on a daily rate of up to £–£ (Inside IR).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust and efficient services and applications using Typescript.
• Support existing microservices built using Docker and AWS serverless architecture.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable solutions.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help define technical standards.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance best practices are followed.

Preferred Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Typescript development (core skill).
• Working knowledge of Java and JavaScript (secondary skills).
• Experience in Docker-based development and containerization.
• Proficiency with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, Kinesis Streams, EventBridge, and EventMapper.
• Experience with ECS and AWS Fargate for container orchestration.
