The Old Bank Wellbeing Trust is a registered charity (no. 1201806) dedicated to ensuring accessible mental health support for everyone. Based in Hampden Park, Eastbourne, the Trust provides comprehensive therapeutic services, including in‑person and online counselling, psychotherapy, and group therapy sessions. We also deliver professional services such as Reflective Practice Supervision and Mental Health First Aid training. Our mission centers on breaking down barriers to mental health care, supported by a bursary fund to assist those in financial need. With a strong commitment to community wellbeing, we aim to combat stigma and foster resilience and brighter futures for individuals and families alike.
This is a volunteer on‑site role located in Eastbourne for a Trustee at The Old Bank Wellbeing Trust. The Trustee will contribute to overseeing the strategic direction and governance of the charity, ensuring it continues to fulfill its mission and objectives. Responsibilities include attending regular board meetings, reviewing organisational performance, guiding policy decisions, and providing input on financial planning and fundraising efforts. Trustees act as ambassadors for the Trust, helping to strengthen its visibility and impact within the community. Lead Trustees take a particular interest in their area of strength (in this case, Operations or Counselling).
