Job description

Two day nanny role in Hook. This family is looking for a Nanny to care for a 10 month old boy on Monday and Tuesday from 9am to 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for the child throughout the day.
• Plan and implement fun, interactive play and outdoor activities that support developmental milestones.
• Support the parents who work from home, staying comfortable with their presence and occasionally joining them for lunch or a quick hello.
• Interact kindly with the family’s French Bulldog, giving the dog attention and a belly rub (no walking duties required).
• Drive to and from the parents’ place if needed; fuel will be reimbursed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Level 3 or above childcare qualification.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a childcare setting.
• Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate (registered on the Update Service).
• 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• Two professional referees, including a current or former employer who can be contacted immediately.

Contract & Compensation

• Fixed‑term contract for one year, with possibility of extension.
• Pay: £15 gross per hour, £975 gross per month, £11,700 gross per annum.
• Driving required – own car needed, fuel reimbursement available.

• Days required: Monday and Tuesday
• Hours of work: 9am‑4:30pm
• Pets in the home: 1 dog (French Bulldog)
• Job Start Date: 5th May 2026
• Job End Date: 5th May 2027 (with possibility of extension)
