A high-end catering company is seeking a Chef de Partie for their team in Methley. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, managing your station, and ensuring food safety standards. Ideal candidates will have prior experience and strong teamwork skills. Job Title: Chef de Partie
Location: Newmarket Lane, Methley, Leeds
Salary: £13.80 per hour
Working Hours: 19:30 - 03:30 (5 days a week, every other weekend off)
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic, fast‑paced team in a high‑end Business & Industry catering environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of fresh, quality ingredients in a craft‑based kitchen, contributing to the creation of exceptional dishes for our clients.
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a chef who thrives in a busy, contract catering setting. The role offers competitive pay, stability, and the chance to develop your culinary skills further while being part of a growing team.
Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef; ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Station Management – oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and upkeep your designated area with supplies and ensure cleanliness in line with policies and procedures.
Quality Control – maintain high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste is considered at all times.
Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with all other team members and assist/support all colleagues where necessary.
Menu Development – collaborate with head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.
Cleaning and Maintenance – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen including your designated area; ensure equipment is in good working order.
