Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle in Reigate is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join a luxury home. Flexible full and part-time hours with shifts 17:00-23:00, and weekend flexibility. You’ll help with daily living activities, meals and activities, while developing strong relationships with residents and their families.

Interviews may be offered to eligible candidates at drop-in sessions. Full right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; good written and verbal communication is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care is advantageous.
• Kind, patient and reliable individuals will thrive in a care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Support residents to make their apartments feel like home.
• Engage residents in activities such as bingo, shopping and music.
• Contribute to developing and following residents’ Care Plans.

Your Role at Signature

Signature at Reigate Grange are holding weekly drop in sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm - 4pm. You can pop in at any time and meet our friendly team, there will be opportunities to have a look around our beautifulhome and speak to our teams about opportunities we have available. If you bring your updated CV you may be able to have an interview on the day!

We’ll need you to bring your compassion and uniqueness to this role. Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist dementia care. You’ll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around. You’ll help them make their apartments feel like home. You’ll enjoy their favourite activities with them, like bingo, shopping and live music. You’ll develop strong relationships with the individuals you work with, and their families.

You’ll be respectful of residents’ choices, dignity and independence, always. You’ll also be integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.
