A leading broadcasting organization in Birmingham is offering a fixed-term apprenticeship in TV Social Production. This full-time position provides aspiring individuals with hands-on experience in creating content for platforms like TikTok and YouTube while gaining a Level 3 Production Assistant qualification. This apprenticeship is offered to a limited number of apprentices each year and would be considered for this position, subject to meeting the relocation support qualifying criteria. This is a fixed‑term apprenticeship – the contract lasts for the duration of the scheme. The TV Social Edit Hub team creates bespoke social edits to support a wide range of BBC iPlayer titles and reach young audiences on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X. The work covers clips and reactive content taken from existing shows, repurposed with graphics and dynamic text, as well as story cutdowns and compilations for a range of platforms, including YouTube. The team also edits original promotional content and supports some of the biggest BBC titles such as The Traitors, Gladiators, RuPaul's Drag Race UK and A Good Girl's Guide To (title incomplete).
