Job summary

ITV in Manchester is seeking a Makeup Assistant to create and maintain character looks for television drama. You will work on hair, makeup, wigs, and SFX, ensuring seamless continuity across filming blocks and collaborating closely with the Costume team.

The role requires 5+ years in makeup on TV drama, with experience in supervision and on-set collaboration. On-location and in-studio shoots are expected, including night shoots, with a strong focus on artistry and organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in makeup department on a television drama or continuing drama.
• Experience as Makeup Supervisor cover role on TV drama.
• Experience monitoring makeup continuity across filming blocks.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain character looks, including hair, makeup, wigs, and SFX as required by script.
• Ensure continuity across scenes and blocks; collaborate with Costume team.
• Assist the Head of Makeup and may step into a supervision role when needed.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards on set and in makeup room.
