About the Role

AtCentra Training, we're on a mission to improve access to vocational education, enhancing opportunities for those working in the care sector.

We're looking for a Sector Specialist Tutor to deliver vocational qualifications from level 2 - 5 in care organisations. This is a home-based role with flexibility, strong job satisfaction, and willingness to travel within the geographical area linked to your location. (1 to 1, group, face-to-face and remote teaching and assessing)

What You'll Do
  • Deliver engaging training, supporting learners on their journey.
  • Engage with employers and review progress
  • Build strong, positive relationships with both learners and employers.
  • Manage a caseload of learners and ensure timely completion of qualifications.
  • Keep accurate learner records using our e-portfolio system.
  • Maintain compliance with quality and audit standards.
  • Spot opportunities for new training and business development.
  • Continue developing your own skills and contribute to quality improvements.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
  • GCSEs (A-C) in Maths, English & ICT (or equivalent).
  • TAQA or other Assessing, Teaching Qualifications.
  • Proven background in the care sector, qualified to level 5 or above.
  • Strong tutoring, coaching, or teaching experience (1 year+ preferred).
Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to inspire learners.
  • Committed to quality, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Other Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
