This role involves delivering Maths and English tuition tailored to individual needs, providing support to enhance engagement and educational journeys. Tutors will enjoy flexible part-time hours, a competitive pay rate of £25–£30 per hour, and opportunities for professional development, all while working remotely.
Face to Face Tutors needed to provide core subject (Maths, English, or Science) support for Young People with SEND, SEMH and other additional educational needs. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support. We are looking for Tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic and able to create/deliver learning plans on a 1 to 1 basis. A therapeutic approach may also be needed to re‑engage students with their learning. The aim is to provide the pupil with structure in their daily routine and to continue their educational development, ultimately helping them return to an educational setting.
We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN (Special Education Needs) / SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties). This role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND tutors who are eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic and trauma‑informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.
