A local authority in England is seeking casual tutors to teach arts & crafts as part of their Family Learning provision. In this role, you will plan courses and lessons, teach learners, and provide developmental feedback. Ideal candidates will have qualifications in English and maths, and a Level 3 award in Education and Training is preferred. The position offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to inspire learners while enhancing their skills in everyday subjects.
You will be responsible for planning courses and lessons, creating resources, teaching lessons, and marking learners' work and giving developmental feedback.
This role is an exciting opportunity to support Thurrock residents with developing their skills and confidence in a subject of interest to them in their everyday life and work.
Thurrock Adult Community College is the local authority's provider of adult education for Thurrock. Our main base is in the Old Court House in Grays, but we deliver courses across the borough.
Salary: £26.07 - £29.72 per hour, depending on qualifications.
Grade: TUTLEC 1 - 4 depending on teaching qualifications and experience.
Contract: Permanent.
Hours per Week: Variable (as & when required) and subject to demand.
