An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our teaching and learning team in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick, building teaching experience within a vibrant teaching and research environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver problem classes, tutorials, and computer practicals.
  • Grade assignments for undergraduate students.
  • Contribute to other teaching and learning activities, including personal tutoring, outreach, and open days.
  • Allocate up to 20% of time to personal professional development or to pursue a research programme in Computer Science.
Qualifications
  • Good Honours degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related subject, with a record of academic achievement.
  • Excellent planning, time‑management and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage students in their learning and deliver content using relevant software packages and programming languages.
  • Commitment to delivering a high‑quality learning experience.
Contract Details
  • Part‑time / flexible working basis (including job share) is considered, although the position is advertised as full‑time.
  • Fixed‑term contract until 31st July 2026.
  • Location: University of Warwick Campus, Coventry.
  • Salary: £31,236 – £34,610 per annum.
