About This Opportunity
Based in Watford, this role will support the aggregation and analysis of our online digital platforms and marketing campaigns. You will prepare reports, build and explore dashboards, and evaluate the behaviour of our website visitors to meet our online conversion and web experience targets across both B2B and B2C channels. This is an excellent opportunity for a budding analyst to help elevate our marketing efforts through actionable qualitative and quantitative insight.
What You’ll Need (Qualifications)
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts and standard methodologies with at least 2 years of experience within an analyst or digital marketing role
- Experience reporting on customer journey, identifying improvement areas, analysing campaign performance, offering insights to marketing team, and linking to commercial goals
- Monitor website activity and keyword strategy against competitors to benchmark performance; collect and review marketing data, including qualitative and quantitative customer and website behavioural data using tools such as Content Square, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Flipbook, Survey Monkey and others
- Compose dashboards, campaign and website performance reports with visuals to support presentations, and share insights with collaborators from junior team members to senior colleagues
- Audit and update campaign and website tags to ensure effective tracking of user engagement, in compliance with PECR, Data Protection Act and UK GDPR to drive best practice across the marketing team
- Identify improvements for user experience and increase traffic and conversion metrics, helping drive a test and learn culture across teams. Monitor audience behaviour and work with Customer Experience, UX, Product, Revenue and Analysis teams to ensure data and insights flow across multiple departments and support wider business intelligence data
- Experience with online tools including GA4, Tag Manager, SimilarWeb, and Looker Studio
Additional Experience That Would Be Helpful
- Good understanding of UTM parameters for accurate tracking and recording of data across campaigns
- Microsoft Excel skills with ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets through formulas, Pivot Tables etc.
- PowerPoint skills to condense complex information into simple insights adapted to different audiences
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in GA4
- Experience in Salesforce and/or Salesforce Marketing and Cloud with a digital experience tool, preferably Content Square
