Make a Real Impact as an SEN Tutor.

Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students with SEN or SEHM needs? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised 1:1 support in English and Maths for Turkish speaking students. These in-person sessions in Clapton offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

• in-person in the Clapton area
• Day(s) and Time(s): Weekday afternoons, Monday - Friday
• Hours: 2 hours per day, building up to 3 hours per day
• Subject and Level: KS1 Maths and English and Communication Activities
• Pay: £35 p/h
• Start date: As soon as possible

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
• Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
• Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these
• Monitoring student progress and producing reports
• Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
• Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
• Speaks fluentTurkish
• Experience working with students with communication difficulties and speech delays
• An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The right to be self employed in the UK
