Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a shaft and tunnelling project north of Salisbury on a Wessex Water scheme. You will manage day-to-day site activities, review RAMS, permits and ITPs, and deliver site briefings while coordinating works with the client and project team.

The role requires previous Site Manager experience in civil engineering, a strong shaft sinking and/or tunnelling background, and excellent administration and paperwork skills.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Manager experience within civil engineering.
• Strong shaft sinking and/or tunnelling background.
• Excellent site administration and paperwork skills.
• Experience within the water sector would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site activities.
• Reviewing RAMS, permits, ITPs and site documentation.
• Delivering site briefings and coordinating works.
• Liaising with the client, foreman and project team.
• Ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
