Job summary

TSB is seeking a Network and Network Security Analyst to deliver high-quality operational support for the network infrastructure. You will be responsible for availability and service delivery across multi-vendor products, while working within IO&SD to sustain a proactive security posture.

You will contribute to a strong CIO culture and collaborate across teams to manage risk, improve performance, and support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–5 core network skills including Cisco routing and security products.
• Also requires 2–3 additional skills from the listed sets (wireless, WAF, proxies, and related tools).
• Experience with multi-vendor network infrastructure for large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver operational support and ensure availability of network services across multi-vendor products.
• Maintain and improve network infrastructure within IO&SD and CIO function.
• Collaborate with teams to enforce risk-aware, proactive network management.

Working as part of a team of Network and Network Security Analysts delivering great service to our customers, both internal and external, through strong technical operational support of the Network Infrastructure within IO&SD. Responsible for the Operations, Availability and Support of the Network services across multi-vendor products.

• Ability to build and develop the culture of the CIO function and support the development of the CIO culture across TSB.

• Good communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally.
• Clear decision‑making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to and not to escalat issues.
• Self‑motivated, able to work on own initiative and able to work collaboratively and constructively within multi discipline teams.
• Must have at least 4 to 5 of these core skills - Cisco Routing (BGP, OSPF, PBR, MPLS), Cisco Switching, Cisco ACI, Fortinet Fortigate FW, Fortinet Fortiswitch, F5 DNS / GTM, F5 LTM, IPAM / Infoblox, Palo Alto FW.
• Must have at least 2 to 3 of these additional skills - Forescout, Cisco Wireless, Meraki Wireless, AkamaiWAF, Proxy technologies (Fortinet Fortiproxy / ZScaler), F5 AFM.
