Job summary

Clarke Willmott is recruiting for a Solicitor/Legal Executive/Associate to join its Private Capital's Tax and Trusts team. The role supports high net worth clients with complex trusts, tax and wealth planning, within a fast-paced environment.

You will handle a busy caseload, attend the office at least twice a week, and work closely with in-house advisers and colleagues to deliver integrated advice. The team is highly regarded and offers a supportive, flexible culture.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years PQE in private client/trusts work
• Experience of complex trust matters essential
• Excellent organisational skills and client service

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of trust matters, including administration, compliance and tax reporting
• Advise on the establishment, structuring and ongoing administration of UK trusts
• Draft trust deeds, letters of wishes and related guidance on trust taxation
• Collaborate with Chartered Tax Advisers, accountants and STEP-qualified colleagues
• Prepare or oversee annual trust accounts and tax returns
• Advise on trust-related issues arising from Wills and lifetime gifts; work with Lifetime Planning team
