Job summary

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is seeking a proactive Trusts and Foundations Officer to manage a portfolio of donors giving up to £50,000 per year. The role focuses on developing proposals, reports and stewardship plans to grow sustainable income.

Hybrid London work requires two days in the office weekly. The role asks for experience in trusts and foundations fundraising, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to work across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience of trusts and foundations fundraising and reporting.
• Ability to research prospects and prepare compelling cases.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with donor reporting and stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of trusts and foundations.
• Identify new funding opportunities beyond MAP’s existing networks and prepare applications as suitable opportunities arise.
• Develop tailored proposals, situation reports, impact reports and stewardship plans, while strengthening MAP’s knowledge of its supporters.
• Work with the Prospect Researcher to identify, research and cultivate a strong pipeline of trusts and foundations prospects.
• Develop cultivation tools and monitor progress against agreed key performance indicators.
• Support the wider Philanthropy and Partnerships Team with online and in-person events, portfolio analysis and income forecasting.
