St John Ambulance in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Trusts and Statutory Fundraiser to join our Philanthropy and Partnerships team and secure five-figure grants to support lifesaving first aid initiatives and community outreach. You will manage relationships with existing funders and identify new opportunities to grow income.

You will develop compelling funding proposals, maintain positive donor stewardship, and collaborate across the organisation to maximise impact while upholding

Qualifications

• Proven experience of trust fundraising with grants and long-term funder relationships.
• Ability to identify and research new funding opportunities and build a strong pipeline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; persuasive fund proposals.
• Strong interpersonal skills for relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Organisational and time management skills with ability to handle deadlines.
• Numerical skills and proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Secure significant income from trusts and foundations by funding applications and donor stewardship.
• Research and identify new trust funding opportunities to support priorities.
• Manage a portfolio of trust donors with timely reporting and updates.
• Collaborate across the organisation to develop compelling funding proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of fundraising activity in the CRM and provide progress reports.
• Ensure compliance, data protection, and ethical fundraising practices.
