Job summary

St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich is seeking a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to join the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team. You will develop funding proposals, build cases for support and deliver stewardship to grant-making trusts and foundations, supporting core services and capital priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in trusts and foundations fundraising.
• Experience producing high-quality written communications, reports, proposals or applications.
• Ability to develop compelling cases for support using qualitative and quantitative information.
• Strong research, prospecting and analytical skills.
• Experience of managing a fundraising portfolio and achieving targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies; build relationships to maximise income.
• Research, identify and qualify new funding opportunities across core services and capital priorities.
• Prepare and submit high-quality funding applications, proposals and reports for unrestricted, restricted and capital funding.
• Deliver stewardship with timely updates, impact reports and engagement opportunities to encourage multi-year giving.
• Contribute to the Capital Appeal fundraising activity and identify opportunities for significant investment.
• Plan and deliver donor meetings, events, and visits to deepen engagement.
• Gather stories and impact information to inspire giving and improve donor insights.
• Maintain accurate supporter records and pipeline using CRM, ensuring GDPR compliance.
• Monitor fundraising activity and use data to improve performance.
• Represent the hospice at events and across partnerships while upholding values.
• Collaborate across the organisation to support wider fundraising objectives and safeguarding requirements.
