A specialist education charity near Witney is seeking a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to manage a portfolio and secure funding to support children affected by trauma. You will deliver an income target and write applications to trusts and foundations, while working closely in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of fundraising experience and strong relationship and research skills.
£30,000 to £38,000 per year

Merrifield Consultants are partnering with a specialist education and therapeutic charity to recruit a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser. The role sits in a small, collaborative team that raises income to support children and families affected by early trauma. You will inherit a strong base of warm repeat funders and have clear scope to grow new income.
You will manage a portfolio of trusts and foundations, build a healthy pipeline and submit persuasive bids for one-off and multi-year grants. You will gather information from colleagues, shape clear cases for support and produce timely reports that show impact and encourage renewal. The team is supportive and hands-on, offering a good degree of autonomy and minimal supervision.
At least two years of experience in trusts and foundations or closely related fundraising.
Evidence of meeting income targets and securing new opportunities.
Strong research, bid writing and relationship skills.
Well-organised, self-sufficient and comfortable managing your own workload.
Confident working with colleagues to gather information and shape proposals.
Knowledge of fundraising practice and GDPR.
Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT or another CRM is helpful.
This role is based on site near Witney, Oxfordshire, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 16:00. Limited flexibility may be agreed. Access to a car is likely to be helpful.
