We are seeking new Trustees to help shape and grow our national charity that supports young people leaving care to live connected, interdependent and fulfilling lives. Our approach is co-designed with young people, built on psychological and relational groupwork practice, and delivered through local house projects (LHPs) across England and Scotland.
You’ll join a small, committed Board working alongside staff and young people to support good governance, strategic development and continued growth. This is an exciting time, with new LHPs launching each year and a strong movement of young people influencing the work at every level.
There are four in-person Board meetings a year in Crewe, usually on Wednesdays between 11am and 3pm with young people attending as expert advisors. Trustees also attend an annual conference hosted by young people plus occasional virtual working groups relevant to their skills.
Previous Trustee experience is not essential. Full induction and ongoing support are provided.
