Job summary

Old Swinford Services Limited is seeking a self-motivated Cleaner to work 30 hours per week, all year round. The shifts run Mon 07.00-12.30, Tue-Fri 07.00-12.00, Sat 07.00-11.30, with the hourly rate of £12.71 per hour and eligibility for a workplace pension through NEST.

The successful candidate will maintain high cleanliness standards across the school site, use approved cleaning materials, and assist with other duties as required by the SLT or Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the school daily.
• Clean assigned areas and follow standards and procedures.
• Deal with emergency cleaning calls after school hours when required.
• Use cleaning materials appropriately and report faults to the Bursar.
• Contribute to major cleaning tasks during school holidays.
• Assist with heavy duty cleaning when required.
• Help with laundry and catering departments if needed.
• Follow COSHH regulations and health & safety responsibilities.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably required.
