Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care Manager to lead and develop an inclusive, Trust-wide chaplaincy and spiritual care service across CNWL. You will provide professional leadership for pastoral, spiritual and religious care, ensuring access for patients, carers, families, staff, students and volunteers of all beliefs.

Qualifications

• Registration with UKBHC or equivalent professional body
• Degree-level qualification in chaplaincy or related field
• Evidence of training in safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and CPD
• Endorsement within faith, belief or pastoral care community
• Experience of working with volunteers and diverse communities

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of a Trust-wide inclusive chaplaincy and spiritual care service
• Provide professional leadership for pastoral, spiritual and religious care across CNWL
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures and governance
• Support recruitment, induction, training and supervision of Volunteer Support Chaplains
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic, person-centred care
• Build partnerships with faith communities and external organisations
• Ensure safeguarding, confidentiality, information governance and health & safety compliance
• Monitor service activity and contribute to reporting and service development
